| ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- aural disturbances So a co-worker here has brought her 15-year-old daughter in to work so that, I guess, the 15-year-old doesn't use her summer vacation to terrorize innocent people in only the way that 15-year-olds can. Anyway, this 15-year-old is instead terrorizing me by sitting at the desk of another co-worker (who is out for the day) and playing Internet games. No big deal. Except for the part where the Internet games have sounds and those sounds, even though she has the volume turned down fairly low, sound like little baby mice being stepped on. Squeallllllll.....squeeeeaaaaaakkkkk.....eeeeeeeeeeeeeee I am now officially wishing that I'd done a better job of blowing out my hearing at all those rock shows.... 3:07 pm - 07.17.03
