| ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- it's the light you're after because light moves faster... It is a bleak and blustery winter�s day. Big storm �a-brewin�. The wind is blowing fast and hard and the torrential rains should be along any second now. But that�s OK � it�s Thursday. I�m done with school, I have two short projects left for work and I�m 75 percent done with my Christmas shopping. Oh, and I came into work today and found out I was getting a $50 a week raise. Just because they�ve got money in the budget and they�ve been wanting to bring my salary up for a while because they think I�m doing a great job and this will have no effect on my annual merit raise in May. Damn. GB says it�s because I made a good impression at the Holiday Office Potluck. Hee. Oh, and there�s one other thing I don�t want to mention because I�m afraid of jinxing it (yes, I�m superstitious like that), but I just found out that said thing is one step closer to happening�.. Double hee. (i.e.: hee hee) All this and I�ve got a Survivor finale tonight and a post-Survivor trip to the Club for celebratory drinks and good music. And it�s not even my birthday yet! Shoot, at this rate I�d be willing to forgo any birthday or Christmas presents and just be very very grateful for all the good things that have happened in the last two days. But, um, you know I wouldn�t want to disappoint anyone who�s already gone to the trouble of getting me something, so um, yeah.
