| ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- another birthday, another holiday gone Well, after much work - or, to quote myself last Saturday - tons o' ass-busting - I do believe the party was a success. But again, the ass-busting. We cleaned and cooked and shopped and decorated and then after the last guest finally filtered out, cleaned a bit more and then on the 23rd - my birthday, by the way, I was so sore and tired from all this hard holiday partying, I could barely do anything to celebrate the passing of another year of my life. Whoo-hoo, I'm a year older..that's about as good as it got. Christmas was uneventful but nice and included a Christmas Eve dinner at my aunt's gorgeous home in the hills and hours of Rock Band and Guitar Hero at my sister-in-law's on Christmas Day. Now it's Dec. 27 and I'm at work where it's a ghost town and I'm going to head down to the gym in a minute just to make the time go faster. No time like the present to jump on those 2008 resolutions, right? Oh and yeah, the best gifts: a new Schwinn cruiser - green, styled like a vintage bike (From C, for the birthday), a fancy flea market journal, a super-cute recipe holder and tickets to an upcoming basketball game. 1:13 pm - 27.12.07
