----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Let's just skip to the hard stuff A trip to the doctor today to discuss lab results. New thyr0id meds not working well enough so he's essentially doubling the dosage. Bloodwork also shows I basically have a thyroi0d autoimmune disorder that causes this issue. He thinks we can regulate it through medication but that I should also consider a gluten-free diet. I already do a gluten-restricted diet because I've found that an excess build-up of it in my body causes bloating and back pain. Jesus, it's SO much fun getting older and this i quite possibly the most boring diary entry ever written. Sorry. My point was, though, that he thinks I also have a compromised immune system right now--hence being sick for about two months solid now. Wants me to take some pricey probiotics for a month and if those don't work he'll put me on antibiotics. Seriously, those probiotics are going to set me back $70 and the antibiotics would only be $10. Can't we just skip to the hard stuff? I really want to just delete this stupid boring entry but I'm going to keep it so that one day I remember, in minute detail, how it felt getting older and broker at this point in my life. 11:18 am - 15.03.16
