| ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Work, work, work, work, work, work Six weeks into my summer break and six weeks left and here's the thing: I do not summer well. I have kept myself so busy it's ridiculous. The other day C asked what was 'on my agenda' for the day and ater I rattled off my list he just laughed. "You're busier than me!" To be fair, I did take that week-long trip to Chicago and then last weekend was camping and today K and I did a mini trip into the foothills and every morning I start my day drinking coffee and reading so it is not all work, work, work but, yeah, R*hanna knows what up, girl. In other news, I started a fiction workshop yesterday with this local writer who is nationally acclaimed and she told me she's a fan and has followed my writing "since we were both babies" and I nearly died because she is so fucking awesome and, to be honest, I probably learned more in one two-hour workshop than I learned in the entirety of M's class at the fancy private college, the bill for which I am still paying off (side note, M's class and G's class are the only two classes I didn't like so I'm probably unfairly using this as an example, because I think the rest of my time there was worth it.
