In other news: We are still in the old house. Or, more accurately, we are still at "home." The new house really doesn't feel like anything resembling home yet - though I'm getting more used to it with each visit. We made a stop-over last night with the Band to check out the new floors. So pretty and shiny. Today marks the start of the central heat and air, should be completed by this weekend. Then, Monday and Tuesday - touch-up paint. Then, finally late next week we should start moving things over. Will hopefully be mostly moved in by 4th of July - which will still give us nearly 2 weeks to finish any moving and to clean-up the old place that is still known as home.

And that's pretty much it for my little corner of the world. Oh wait, I am doing this performance/writerly type thing on Friday night. My first such thing in years and years and years. And I'm more than a little bit freaked out by it. I have to work on it tonight and tomorrow. And then Friday get properly boozed up before-hand. I know, how cliched...but oh well.

It's also finally getting hot around here. Hello summer.
