Here for a journalism conference and this is where the advisers get to stay (it's mostly a student conference but there are about 30 advisers, too, I think). It's interesting because my college experience did not include the dorms--I lived with my then-boyfriend in a shitty off-campus apartment. This campus is huge, too, and feels like it's straight out of a movie set what with its stately columned buildings and red brick walkways and lush green lawns. I've gotten lost at least twice already. Some of the advisers went out to a pub but I slunk off to my room to be alone and it's storming so I ordered pizza for delivery and just plan to read and Netflix. Peak me, really, even if a glass of wine or a beer does sound nice. Too bad there's no bar around the corner. Oh. And the thing I'm very excited about? I think it's happening. I asked for a tiny bit more money and they agreed and now I'm just waiting for the licensing agreement. I am beyond thrilled. Pizza's almost here and I'm starving ... 7:52 pm - 12.07.18
