When you press �play� repeatedly on the CD player and wonder why no sound is coming through your headphones, it would be wise to remember to check if there is actually a disc inside the player. This is more than a reality (and yes it is a reality) it seems to be a metaphor for my life lately. Look at me go! I can find metaphors in the darnedest places. It�s a world gone mad folks and I don�t care what anyone says, I for one am damn happy that Michael Moore decided to rant last night in front of millions upon millions of people worldwide. Someone�s got to be saying these things when there�s an open mic � �it�s an odd feeling � to be filled with such rage and sadness at everything that�s fucked up in the world and to then go outside and soak up the sunshine and to think (feel), at least momentarily that how lovely, how lovely it all is�. � a weekend spent veering between feeling sick and acting social. Saturday day: felt horribly sick and blah, studied and wrote some, slept much. Saturday night: a party that had to be attended. Got dolled up and went through the motions. Sunday: lather, rinse and repeat. At least Sunday night�s party was an Oscar party which meant we got to stay seated and consume mass quantities of food. Always a good thing�.. Note: Listening to the B1ood Brothers is a good thing when you�re feeling all mean and screamy inside. It just fits, you know? 3:51 pm - 03.24.03
