| ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- sound it off good lord i hate the american medical system....last week i got a call from the dr's office claiming that someone 'misread' my mamm0gram/s0nogram results and now i no longer need a biopsy just a quick exam w/ the doctor (skedded for today) and a followup mamm0gram in six months... excuse the f*!k outta me? so, when the doctor pulled me into the hall (me still dressed in my paper-thin gown, no less) and went over my f*!king mamm0gram and made all these comments about 'enlarged masses' and blah blah blah -well then he was just talking out of his highly-paid ass? Apparantly so. Apparantly he missed that day in med school and now those enlarged masses mean nothing yes, I know that my age and genes are working in my favor when it comes to cancer...but unless you can tell me 100 f*!ing percent that it is NOT the Big C then I want a goddamned biopsy. Because it's an awfully large mass. And I don't want to be that one-to-two percent of the population that becomes a lesson to the rest of you. (The fact that I am hovering on the edge of the flu is not helping my mood one bit). Now if you'll excuse me, I believe there's a head that's ripe for rolling. 11:30 am - 11.03.03
