In my mind this was some mid-life crisis thing--how fucking predictable, right? Except it wasn't some convertible or sports car or what have you but rather the kind of vehicle dog catchers drive around town. So. Yeah. Strange. But, seriously, I was so angry I was ready to divorce him. It didn't help that in the same dream some punk kid stole my camera. In my dream it was a point and shoot digital camera and he stole it by grabbing my tote bag from where I'd placed it on the floor in the bathroom stall. I ran out and chased him and got the bag back but the camera was missing. C. was furious with me because I'd been careless. Jesus, subconscious, WTF. (Also, the camera was clearly a mental stand-in for my new phone--they looked nearly identical--and it may indicate the guilt I feel about buying one when my old phone was honestly just fine.
