| ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Assassinate December I'm sorry, I realize that last entry was so whiny, whoa is me. Sometimes I just need to let it out and this little corner of my world is sometimes (often) the best place for such kvetching. And thank you--not just for putting up with it but for being so wonderfully you. Anyhoo, we're knee-deep in the holiday hoopla now. No time for self-indulgent whining! Soldier on, holiday soldiers, soldier on! For reals. But seriously, I am trying to find moments of respite this holiday season. Last night we went for a walk in the icy cold and admired the way all the lights sparkled. And somewhere amid all the party rush and gift buying and food-making I hope we find time to watch A Charlie Brown Christmas and It's a Wonderful Life and maybe, too, The Ice Storm and The Sweet Hereafter. And if oucld find time to make a new holiday music mix then I would consider it a perfect December, really. This birthday will not get the best of me, I swear. 11:36 am - 09.12.13
