----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- tired in the bones Received my second shot on Saturday. So far the side effects have been mild: a tender arm, slight fever and deep fatigue. I went to bed early last night because I just felt so tired in my bones and I had the weirdest fever dreams. I can't even describe them, but even as someone who dreams pretty vividly, these were rather different and surreal. I teared up a little when the woman who gave me the shot asked, 'does this mean you get to hug some family members soon?'. What a goddamned year it has been. I don't think things will ever (or not anytime soon) return to what we think of as "normal" but at this point I will take normal-adjacent. Three more days of class this week and then I kick into spring break mode—which really isn't going to be much different than regular-semester mode, except that there are no Zoom classes so, honestly, hallelujah. Maybe the tired in the bones feeling has more to do with school than vaccines. 1:43 pm - 22.03.21
