----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- feeling great in 2008 oh hallelujah it is a new new year and it is, may I say, started off quite nicely. New Year's Eve was lovely and peaceful (fire, movie, pizza) and we were in bed by 1 and then up by 10 a.m. for a quiet day of reading, new computer tinkering and movie-watching. Pretty blissful. Today, work. Of course I would have loved to have the rest of the week off but reality intervened. And while I didn't quite make my 6:45 wake-up call I am, very slowly, working up to getting used to the teaching hours (which will go into effect Jan. 28) and I got to work much earlier than usual so that's a good thing. One day at a time. Things to which I am looking foward in 2008: Teaching (scared but excited) I hope I'm not setting myself up for failure and disappointment, but I really am convinced that 2008 could not possibly suck as much as 2007 did. 1:14 pm - 02.01.08
